My Review:

It was one of the best horror movies I have ever seen. Though this is a remake of the movie Kanchana by the same director as laxmii's (Raghawa Lawrence) still the story, the acting, the direction, everything is great, even the songs are superb. It talks about many social issues like inequality between genders especially between the 'normal' and the LGBT community.

The plot of the movie is quite interesting and even emotional at some points. And of course it's just not a horror in name because some scenes will give you goosebumps but it's not so scary because the comedy took away some scenes which could have been very scary. I think it's a good thing so that more people can watch this movie.

The movie also talks about inter religion marriage which i think is not a good point because it causes disturbances in the communities these days due to which conflicts are also broken at places.

*spoilers ahead* In the movie when laxman was thrown away by her parents because of her uniqueness as she was a transgender, when she was starving, she was adopted by someone who didn't even knew her. He gave her food, renamed her Laxmi and even let her adopt a kid like her own. Through this maybe the writer wants to convey that people like lax also have a right to live life happily and maybe there are still kind people left in this materialistic world.

In the movie Laxmi also talks about giving education to her adopted child so that she becomes a capable human and of course she became a capable and beautiful person. This points out that even people who are said to be 'not normal' by the society should get equal education as everyone else so that they do not have to beg or use any other means which are not good to earn their bread.

In a nutshell, it was a great movie, worth watching for comedy horror lovers.

Thank you everyone! Have a great day ahead! <3
